Fikri Halim (a.k.a Papi) is a freelance makeup artist based in Bali, Indonesia. He has been working in the beauty industry for more than 14 years with a focus on bridal makeup and the wedding party. In addition, he has been instrumental in the success of many commercial projects for print, digital, and TV. His makeup skillset covers the spectrum of looks, including natural, soft glam, and full glam.

Fikri started as a photographer before he fell in love with makeup artistry in 2009, when he was trained by two of the most sought-after makeup artists in the industry. Since then, he has been thoughtfully curating his own team of hair and makeup professionals. Using his photography and makeup backgrounds to consider multiple perspectives, such as client personality and preference, location lighting, and wedding palette, he and his team bring out the natural beauty of each unique bride. They now have the pleasure of fulfilling the dreams of more than 300 brides every year!

One of Fikri’s favorite quotes is, “Beauty has no color.” What this means to him is that every woman is uniquely beautiful and deserves to have that beauty flawlessly elevated through his artistry.
