Our style/Inspiration: A timeless yet modern vibe a look that will never go out of style. Clean and elegant aesthetic that feels effortlessly sophisticated and uncluttered. The final part…
Where did you find your styling inspiration for your Bali wedding?
Looking at wedding bloggers on Instagram really helped decide how we wanted our wedding to look and feel. Pinterest was amazing to create our mood boards.
What was the hardest part about planning a destination wedding?
I would probably say the people organisation was the most difficult, we had so many first time visitors coming to Bali that needed information on where to stay, things to do, which areas are the best to visit etc.
We also found the music sourcing quite difficult because we are SO particular but after hours and hours of searching on Instagram we found our perfect band!
Why did you choose Bali as your wedding destination?
Bali was the perfect place due to it having everything we need! It has a European feel but also the Asian vibe and there are not many places in the world that can be compared! We knew it would be a trip of a lifetime for our UK guests (we are originally from UK).
We made the most of the trip with our guests and we had our hens and stag parties in Uluwatu the week prior this was the perfect place to party in paradise.
As we live in Sydney, it was actually very convenient for us and our guests travelling from Australia. It was also nice visiting Bali multiple times a year to do some in person wedding planning.
What was the best part about getting married in Bali?
Having all of our people from around the world in one place.
The effort the amazing vendors and their team put into the day was unmatched we must have had 50-60 people working on the set up at one point and I really don’t think we would have got that anywhere else in the world! Very lucky to have met so many talented Balinese vendors which are now friends that we hope to stay in touch with for a long time.
How did you stay organised while planning a destination wedding?
Lily Wedding Services were incredible in keeping us organised. They provided everything we needed vendor details, catalogues, updated budgets, and clear breakdowns of how much we owed at each stage. They also shared spreadsheets outlining when each vendor should be booked, which made the whole process feel manageable.
They were always available for online meetings and in-person visits, and their guidance throughout the process was invaluable. Because they know Bali and the venue so well, they offered helpful feedback and alternatives to some of our ideas to ensure everything turned out perfectly. They truly didn’t miss a thing and made sure our day was flawless.
Did your guests love your wedding in Bali?
The guests absolutely loved Bali and there is already talk of a reunion (renew the vows reunion lol).
All of our guests had the best time at our wedding and really noticed how well every detail had been thought out which is down to Lily Wedding Services amazing help.
They were blown away by the stunning venue!
