Ashleigh & Brandon’s Vibrant Coastal Celebration at Jagaditha Cemagi
When The Wedding Mood meets The Wedding Moodboard of every Bali-loving couple, you get something truly magical — and that’s exactly what happened when Ashleigh and Brandon tied the knot at Jagaditha Cemagi. Bright, vibrant, coastal, and deeply personal, their day was the perfect mix of Aussie energy and Bali soul.
But before we dive into the dreamy details, let’s rewind a little…
Ashleigh and Brandon first met 12 years ago on a night out in Adelaide — one of those meet-cute moments through mutual friends that turned into forever. “We just clicked,” Ashleigh laughs. A few dates became years of memories, travels, and adventures… until one particularly romantic trip back to their favourite island in 2023 changed everything.
On their second-to-last night at The Samaya Seminyak, with a sunset melting into the horizon and a ring that had secretly toured Bali’s waterfalls, monkey forests, and quad bike trails, Brandon dropped to one knee. The answer, of course, was a very happy yes!
Fast forward exactly two years later, and on the 4th of September 2025, the couple found themselves saying “I do” back in the same paradise that sparked their engagement — surrounded by 70 of their nearest and dearest.
“Our biggest goal was to make the day a true reflection of who we are and what we love,” Ashleigh shares. “We wanted it to feel like a home away from home — in Bali.”
Cue endless Pinterest boards, Canva moodboards, and late-night planning sessions with spreadsheets (Ashleigh is a project manager, after all!). The result? A stunning celebration that combined modern coastal styling with vibrant Balinese touches — the kind of effortlessly elegant look that makes you want to pin every photo.
Let’s talk vendors aka dream team, because wow, this lineup was pure Bali wedding gold.
First up, The Wedding Mood — planners and stylists Henny and Jasmin — turned vision into reality with their signature calm precision and creative flair. From the seamless timeline to the perfectly executed décor, these two made destination wedding dreams look easy.
The stunning furniture and décor were courtesy of Bali Event Hire, adding that polished-yet-relaxed coastal aesthetic. Think natural textures, soft whites, and warm lighting dancing off the ocean backdrop at Jagaditha Cemagi.
WIB Flowers nailed the brief with bright, joyful florals that popped against the neutral tones of the villa — bringing the couple’s “vibrant coastal” vision to life.
Behind the lens, Flipmax Photography and Leaa Films captured every sunlit smile, candid laugh, and espresso-martini-fuelled dance floor moment (yes, espresso martini tower — more on that in a second!).
The beauty dream team Jovance worked their magic on hair and makeup, creating a natural, glowy look that perfectly matched Ashleigh’s stunning Made With Love “Ollie” gown — customized for an off-the-shoulder twist that was equal parts modern and romantic.
And then, of course, there were the vibes. Lydia Rose and Sammy Sax took the night from “romantic Bali sunset” to “full-on dance party” — with Lydia’s voice being the talk of the wedding. “She got everyone up and dancing — it was just incredible,” Ashleigh says.
Drinks flowed all day thanks to Thirsty Monkey, who not only kept guests’ glasses topped up but somehow made sure even the bride and groom had cocktails in hand between photo sessions. “Their presentation was first-class,” Ashleigh adds. “And swapping our cake for an espresso martini tower? Best decision ever.”
Catering by Smoke Bali was another crowd favourite, bringing big Aussie-style flavours with that signature Bali twist.
And for the personal touch, My Celebrant Bali – Dewi led the ceremony with warmth and joy that set the tone for the entire day.
Ashleigh walked down the aisle to “Golden Hour” by JVKE, with her “Flower Nanna” leading the bridesmaids — a sweet family touch that melted hearts. Brandon looked effortlessly stylish in his Peter Shearer ensemble — a coastal spin on classic groom style.
But perhaps the most sentimental element? Brandon’s wedding ring — a three-piece heirloom passed down from his father, engraved with their wedding date and spaces reserved for their future children. “It’s something we’ll treasure forever,” Ashleigh shares.
“If you’re thinking about a wedding in Bali — do it!” she says without hesitation. “It can feel overwhelming, but when it all comes together, it’s truly magical. We loved sharing our love for Bali with our friends and family — it’s an experience none of us will ever forget.”
Her top tips? “Spreadsheets, a solid plan, and a good wedding planner! And maybe an extra espresso martini or two along the way.”
Ashleigh and Brandon’s Bali wedding was everything you dream a destination celebration can be — heartfelt, vibrant, stylish, and joyfully unfiltered. Proof that when you mix love, spreadsheets, and a team of incredible Bali wedding vendors… the result is pure magic.
How we met: Roughly 12 years ago on a night out in Adelaide, Australia, though a mutual friend. We young and from the moment we met, we just clicked. A few dates turned into a relationship, growing stronger together over the years.
The proposal: In Late August/ September of 2023 we traveled for nine days around Bali and adventured through waterfalls in Ubud, wandered around the monkey forest, went snorkelling, and even braved quad bikes – all the while, Brandon had a secret: a ring that had travelled with them everywhere, quietly waiting for its big moment.
On the second-to-last day of our trip ten-day trip 5th of September 2023- Brandon booked a sunset dinner at their resort and finally popped the question at The Samaya Seminyak.

Our style/Inspiration:
We love beautiful Bali, and wanted to create a style that was bright, vibrant and coastal, but felt like a home away from home in Bali.
We had spent endless nights researching different venues and vendors, to find each perfect fit into our day. The biggest thing for us was keeping the day a true reflection of who we are and what we love to shine through.
Who we couldn’t have done it without (Bali Supplier): The Wedding Mood, Henny and Jasmin were a big part of helping us step out our vision and bring it to life. They work with an amazing list of suppliers and took the stress out of everything.
Our drinks (Thristy Monkey) were absolutely amazing, they made sure even when we went off to get photos, there was always a drink nearby, and the presentation of their drinks was first class.
Our band Lydia Rose her brand brought the whole day to life. She has an amazing voice and it was the talk of the wedding, how she got up and got everyone dancing, making it an incredibly memorable night for all our guests.
All our suppliers have been incredible.
Advice for future Bali Brides:
If you’re thinking about a wedding in Bali, do it! It may seem overwhelming to plan a destination wedding, but when it all comes together, it’s truly magical. The biggest reward for us and our motivation was to be able to share our love for Bali with all our friends and family together.

Where did you find your styling inspiration for your Bali wedding?
A lot of time on Pinterest and searching through other people’s weddings in Bali on Instagram of the different themes we wanted to pull together and use for ours. We started saving ideas and creating a mood board on canva of our wish for the day in one place.
What was the hardest part about planning a destination wedding?
For us it would have been money conversion and late nights talking to supplier online. We made a trip over a year before to be able to see everything in person, and had to do all our villa inspection, food and drink tasting, hair makeup trails and pre wedding photo shoots in one trip over a few short day’s. This made decisions quick but a look to review and commit with only one chance to do it beforehand.
Why did you choose Bali as your wedding destination?
We always wanted to do a destination wedding and we absolutely love Bali, it’s the place that I feel reflects us both best. Its vibe, beauty and connection to what we love most about life, so when Brandon proposed to me in Bali in 2023, the location made sense to bring all our friends and family together in one place. We were looking for a place that we could share not only our wedding day with but also a holiday together.
How did you stay organised while planning a destination wedding?
Lots and lots of spreadsheets!
Ashleigh is a project manager by profession, so naturally, we had our own budgets, cash flow milestones, targets to meet, timelines we set to follow and keep us on track. We also set up a wedding folder on our computer to store everything in one place and reviewed each week where we were up to and what we still needed to sort out.
We also had lots of help from our wedding planner to help us out and keep things moving, and point us in the right direction of suppliers and working directly with these supplier on our behalf to coordinate our ideas together seamlessly
Did your guests love your wedding in Bali?
They were absolutely blown away. It was truly a magical, memorable and incredible day.
Budget: $40k Aud
