Planning a Bali Wedding with Real Bride Kylie Williams
Kylie & Brodie are the classic example of a WedSetter. A thirst for travel and adventure, with Bali being one of their favourite destinations. When planning their wedding they were looking for a European inspired theme to pay homage to their European travels as well as combining their theme with the beauty and romance of Bali. Kylie and Brodie found the perfect venue perched on the clifftops of the Bukit Peninsula overlooking the Indian Ocean at El Kabron.

Episode 3 – Shooting the Shot: Bali Wedding Photography with Motion House Weddings
Jaran is the passionate photographer and videographer behind Motion House Weddings, based in the stunning paradise of Bali. With a keen eye for detail and a love for storytelling, Jaran is a man you can have a laugh with, not taking life too seriously and loving his return to live in Bali with his young family.
Jaran loves to capture the essence of each event, blending breathtaking visuals with authentic emotions. His ability to connect with couples (and have a joke with them throughout the day) allows him to create personalized experiences that reflect their unique love stories and give them that calm and ‘at home’ vibe they need on the day to be super comfortable..
More like a fun-loving guy you want to have a beer with on the weekend, he loves a chat and you can see why in this chat, people are drawn to book with him for their wedding days.
In episode 3 I chat with Jaran from Motion House Weddings. Jaran is the founder of Motion House (previously Juchey Productions) and an experienced photographer and videographer leading multiple teams for weddings, festivals & events in Bali and overseas.
I chat with him about what makes a wedding so good and how you can achieve that for your Bali Wedding too. He talks about how his team are taught to read the room as weddings can be so fast and you always need to be one step ahead of the run sheet to make sure you capture everything possible for the couple.
Jaran takes us through whether you should have a photography shot list, his favourite wedding villa and how his team can help when you are racing towards the sunset.

Episode 4 – Wedding Hair & Makeup That Lasts in Bali with Trove Artistry
There isn’t a better person to chat with on Bali Wedding Hair and Makeup as not only is Alex the owner of the renowned Salon, Trove Artistry. She was also a real bride recently which means she knows what it feels like to be on both sides. She comes to us from a wealth of experience in hair and makeup with 5 of those years being in Bali and she couldn’t wait to share all of those tips with us, especially what happened on her very own wedding day in Bali.
In this episode, Lexie talks to Leisa about experiencing both sides of the Bali Wedding Industry having been married recently in Bali and also owning one of Bali’s leading hair and makeup salons, Trove Artistry.
Lexie takes us through some of her wedding tips and tricks, what you should be doing in the lead up to your big day and also when to have your trial (there is an art to this)!
One of her biggest tips was to book a wedding planner, what to avoid when using fake tan for the first time and how they find the perfect wedding venue.
